Daniel Bernheim, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and
Villanova University School of Law in 1980. In 1993, Dan was one of the
nation's first to obtain an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University
School of Law. Dan has had extensive trial and appellate experience in
state and federal court, including U.S. tax court and bankruptcy court.
The focus of Dan's practice is in commercial litigation, negotiable instruments,
bank litigation, and creditor's rights. Dan has lectured for the Pennsylvania
Banker's Association and Pennsylvania Bar Institute on check frauds under
Article 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code. Dan has also lectured to
the Bar on civil litigation procedure and Pennsylvania Judgments. Dan has
been a member of the State Civil Judicial Committee since 1984 and has
chaired subcommittees for motion court and revisions to rules on confessions
of judgment. Dan serves as a court appointed settlement master. Dan is a
member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers
of America, Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, is admitted to practice
in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United
States Tax Court, and the United States Court of Appeals Third Circuit.
In the June, 2004 issue
of Philadelphia Magazine, Dan was listed among Pennsylvania's Super
Lawyers in the area of commercial litigation.
